im not receiving any notifications when someone replies to a wall post or status update... i thought with the android 2.2 software i was going to be able to.. any ideas?

background data.  have mine off most of the time helps with my battery life.
menu>settings>accounts & sync> check background data

The FB app doesn't work very well for notifications. Personally, I use TweetDeck.

Personally I have facebook email me (using gmail app to check mail, I turned off the mail app), which then goes to my gmail account, which is a push message.  I can then click on the "see comment thread" link or whatever it is and it automatically launches the Facebook app.  After I type my response , I can click back, and delete the email.  Works nice for me so far, I didn't really intend to configure it this way, it should sort of happened and works well.  Smiley
