You have to manually delete them. Or, alternatively, in the People app, press menu, view, uncheck FB contacts.

Yes, they will all still show up when you access your dialer. Do you have your contacts saved as Google contacts or phone contacts? If you have them saved as Google contacts, turn off the sync for both Google contacts and FB, delete all of the contacts on the phone, then resync Google contacts.

there saved as phone contacts, i didnt get the facebook contacts until after i synced my contacts that were on my sim card to my phone. i also went in to setting and then sync and deleted facebook and that did nothing. i guess if you dont know anything else that will help me i will just go imput all my important contacts on gmail, then delete all my contacts off my phone.

Yes, exporting them and importing them as Google contacts, then deleting the contacts from the phone and resyncing just Google contacts is the only option other than to individually go into the People app and delete each FB contact. You can't really delete FB unless you are rooted and even then, removing the FB app doesn't remove the contacts that have already been added to your People app.

As I said, turn off the sync for both types of contacts. Go into the phone's settings, applications, find the people app and clear the data. Reboot the phone, resync Google contacts.
