Blocking Numbers

Hi!

I'm not sure if you've already found the answer. But if you haven't, here's how to block calls:

Select Phone -> Menu -> Blocked Callers.

I don't know how to block text. When you find out, let me know!!

I know this is a few months late but the previous posters are correct. As far as I know the call blocking just forwards the caller directly to voicemail. Not sure if you can direct them to specific voicemail messages (like unavailable, busy on the phone or whatever.)

I am not sure if there are blacklists for texting or not. I killed my texting plan as well, but I did before I bought my Inspire. I complained I was getting spam messages and they put a family block on the texts for free. I thought it would be only one number, I was going to pay by the message but I can't send or receive them.

So I got Google voice and direct people that may want to text me to use this number. It only uses your data so you don't get walked .79 cents or whatever. Friends that call this number can be forwarded to where ever you'd like. I've found it to be a bit slow, but you don't even need to "use" it if you don't want, you can just let those peeps wander the airwaves aimlessly.

I also believe there is an app out there "blacklister" or something. Available for jailbroken iPhones years ago, think there is something in the Android market or possibly 3rd party if sideloading is ever actually legalized, or use sideload wonder machine, I hear it isn't too stressful.
