Settings> sounds> uncheck vibrate;

What messaging app are you using? Just go into the settings and turn off the option to awake phone. Most apps should have it.

Yep, using Tapatalk.

you may also want to hit menu, then settings, then language and keyboard, then touch input, then text input...then scroll down and uncheck vibrate when typing  wink

Hey thanks. I unchecked the Vibrate when typing in the text input, but everything else vibrates. Pressing just about any key vibrates it. That's gotta take up a lotta battery power for sure. How can I turn it off for everything else, hopefully except for vibrate mode when ringing - call come in.

Ok, figured it out. Had to turn it off in three different places. Wish I could remember where they are  Sad). But I would like it to vibrate when I call comes in. The ringer is not nearly loud enough and if the phone is on its back can barely here it at all.

menu, settings, sound....at the top, make sure to put your green check mark by the vibrate for calls and notifications, that will keep it vibrating for incoming calls for ya, then on that same settings page, scroll all the way down and UN-check vibrate for soft keys and certain UI actions, this turns off vibrations to everything else, think that's what you're lookin for  Smiley
