This is a mandatory update... I really don't know why Sprint included the word mandatory...

The last update which was optional I never accepted so it won't see the new "mandatory" update as long as it still pulling the other one.

Anyone know how to turn off the voice-to-text free trial?  I could put up with the mangled transcriptions for another 25 days, but this new soon-to-be-not-so-free "feature" pre-empts regular visual voicemail.  So, 1) I can't choose to hear the message, and 2) since the new "feature" can't relate the caller's phone number to the caller's name, I don't know who the msg is from.

I can't see any option in settings to revert to regular visual voicemail.  Any thoughts?  Anyone else having this problem?  Thanks and please pass the giblet gravy.

I got the msg for this "mandatory" update, hit the update button and said it failed to install. Anyone else get the same error ??

EDIT : I HAD 2 FAILED ATTEMPTS WITH THE UPDATE...I TURNED OFF THE PHONE N IT WENT THRU JUST FINE.  ^_^

Yeah Youmail blows Sprint's out of the water,I pay the $4.99 a month but my Voicemail's are Transcribed Exact.

Exactly,I actually pay $4.49 a month I found a coupon code floating around the Internet and it worked so that's the package I got.I think it's like 20 transcription's a month and they transcribe the first 30 seconds.

Can someone tell me why a transcript of a voicemail is useful? On what instances? I just can't see it. I'm not paying for something like that. It's a totally unnecessary thing, in my opinion, one more thing to clutter my life. I delete the voicemails as soon as I hear them and respond to them.
