 My inspire has the same problem.  Just started out of the blue like everyone else.  Car panel just opens whenever  and calls are on speaker phone. Just like everyone else I've tried all the same thing.  I'm thinking its hardwars b/c sometimes it will switch back n forth ...  car panel to home screen. 
I've searched the net just like everyone else.   Seams like it all started about the same time for everyone.
I've done the factory reset. 
Weird ..     like the phone..  maybe its a bug to make us upgrade.  Lol

Guess it was the usb port.  Pin 4 & 5 was shorted. Used a straight pin and a magnifing glass to clean it .
