Today I changed my google master password and lo and behold I can't seem to change it on my phone or get it to resynch.  I've read of several techniques on the droid forums but none seem to work on the inspire.  For example I've tried refreshing my open email client multiple times but all I get are login failures.  Then I try to resynch via accounts and all I get are synch failures.  I started to delete the gmail account and then progressing through the sequence I got the screen that said the only way to do this was to reset my phone to factory settings = losing everything from the last 4 months #@%@#%$^. Surely there's a solution to this problem.  Help me Master Yoda, help me. TIA, g2

Thanks, neither of those worked, but what finally did work was to just delete the gmail app and then reinstall gmail with my acct. name and new password.  Had to remove the old icon on the home screen and resynch everything and I think that I'll have to go back in and do the same thing with my google acct because it's not showing up on my accts. although the calendar and contacts are.  It's ridiculous that this is so difficult.  I'm using droid 2.2 but none of those suggestions with repeated login or synch attempts worked (or just turning the phone off and on) and I never got the "notification triangle" that some folks say to press on, just icons that said synch didn't work or screens that said login failed and none of the icons did anything when you touched them. Onwards and upwards, g2
