I've had my phone for <2 months.  Yesterday, I plugged it into the wall charger, all was well.
Today, I drained the battery playing angry birds...hehe...and plugged it in, this time, no lighting bolt on the battery icon and it contiuned to drain.  Powered down and popped out the battery for 30 secs, and still nothing. The amber light blinks, but never becomes steady, and the icon doesnt have the lightening bolt. I tried a different plug and a different charger, to no avail (and hubby's phone charges fine with the charger). Its been in an otter box and hasnt been dropped.

Any words of wisdom?  I have the battery out for a 10 min try now....

HELP!  Cry

Hello. I'm sorry to hear about your problem. I actually joined this forum just to get help for this same problem. It charged up last night, and I was using text+ today with my friend and I plugged it into my laptop and it didn't charge. Tried my spare charger that I use in an emergency. Same thing. The light blinked but it didn't charge. I tried my moms charger (she has the same phone that I do [and in case ur wondering why I live with my monitor because I'm 13 lol]). It didn't charge. I researched on the Internet for a little while and found that many ppl have this same problem. I would suggest calling AT&T for a replacement phone. Thats what I'm gonna do. I hope this helps.

Lint or dust could have gotten in the port, blocking a full connection. Try blowing it out.

It could also be that one of the connections broke or bent. In that case you will need a replacement.

Speaking from experience, mine and my wife's cables are fine, but my daughter's cable have both fraid at the bas of the mcro usb connector.  One of my daughters is good a manipulating hers to get power.

In any case, you need to inspect it and see if the cable is the problem.  There are alot of micro USB deviced out there, chances are that you have more than one.  Any micro USB cable to standard USB cable should work to power your phone.

Obviously it isn't the usb cord "charger." They stated that they tried another one.
