When I play music through my Inspire in my car audio system, it will randomly skip like a bad CD. It might play fine for 5 minutes and then start. And by skipping I don't just mean skipping in one song, it will start skipping on a song and end up skipping through 4-5 songs in a matter of seconds.
Any idea's what may be causing this? I have rebooted. All f my music is stored on my SD card.

I thought this might be my current problem, but it seems to be an older problem I had.

When you play your Inspire through your car, is it plugged into the headphone jack, USB, or via Bluetooth?
If by Headphone jack, check the little icon on the status tray. If it is simply the headphones, this should not be happening. If it is the headphones with a mic, then let me guess that after it does all the crazy skipping through songs, it tries to use the Voice Command feature. This mass skipping is because somehow the device is hearing itself, ever so faintly, while thinking for some reason it has a microphone headset plugged in.

The only way to fix this is to make sure the headphone jack and the socket themselves are both clean and clear. And fully inserted. If you could fully remove (or deactivate) the Voice Command, I think that would work too.
